My stepmom's friend decided to park her car super shut to my truck and I tin't back out of the driveway. I think her automobile is FWD. I need to figure out how to move it. My stepmom and friend are out doing any so I can't simply enquire her to move it. Would a jack on a cross member in the forepart work well plenty to move the car a few anxiety downhill and most ten feet on flat basis? Would that possibly cause damage? I don't like the lady and I definitely don't want to have to pay for whatever damages.

Yeah jacking up the front-terminate would move it(since it's FWD). As long every bit the parking brake isn't set. It'd p**s her off probably.

    Merely BE Careful.

    Gravel or concrete drive?

Got a jack and any furniture dollies? Jack upwards a front tire, identify on dolly, echo for other side. Push.

Got a friend west/ a truck and a tow strap? Simply drag it out of the way.

Most newer cars are designed to be lifted from very specific elevator points.
They're non similar the one-time cars that used a bumper jack just anywhere on the bumper.

You lot can practise serious damage to most new cars if you're not real careful.

That said, yes, you should be able to lift and slide either the front or rear with a floor jack.
But make VERY sure you know what you lot're lifting on.

Well her car is from the 90's and is falling autonomously anyways. I'd have some friends assistance pick it up if I wanted to become cut upwards. Probably about to use the jack on it. It's a concrete driveway. She didn't park straight anyways so it'll be cake putting information technology where it needs to be.

If someone parks behind me like that I just drive on the lawn to exit then park somewhere else. I drive a sporty Japanese car too, then a truck should be no problem.
